The Dubuque City Council has approved $250,000 in Operating Support Grant funds for 20 local arts and culture organizations, along with $35,000 for six Special Projects Grants. The grants aim to support community engagement and cultural initiatives. The Operating Support Grant Program allows local 501(c)(3) organizations to request up to 6% or $30,000 of their operating budget. This year, 20 organizations applied, requesting over $331,000 in total.
