UW-Platteville confirm a woman was found dead

University of Wisconsin-Platteville officials confirmed that a woman was found dead on Tuesday. UW-Platteville Police Department, the Lafayette County Sherriff’s Office and the Lafayette County Coroner’s Office responded to a report of a missing person at the Platteville Mound. The Lafayette County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identity of the woman is Emma Jacob. School officials said no foul play is suspected and there is no threat to the public.
