Two Dubuque nonprofits receive large grants

Two Dubuque organizations recently received funding from the Iowa Women’s Foundation. Dubuque Area Labor-Management Council received $10,000 and Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque received $25,000, according to a press release. The Dubuque organizations were among 13 groups statewide to receive the funding. The foundation provides grants to “improve the lives of Iowa women and girls by funding programs currently working to relieve evidence-based barriers to economic self-sufficiency.”
