No injuries were reported in a house fire Sunday night just before 9p in Dubuque. Fire department officials arriving on the scene at Foye Street say they could see flames through a window on the first floor. With the assistance of another fire crew, officials got the blaze under control in about 5 minutes. According to a report, the fire was mostly contained to a living room – which has extensive damage – plus there was some smoke damage in other areas of the home. All the occupants got out safely, and firefighters were able to rescue a cat from inside the house. The fire is under investigation, but it appears to have been accidental.
