Sean Ono Lennon Worries That Gen Z Will “Forget” The Beatles And His Famous Parents, John Lennon And Yoko Ono

During an interview with Anthony Mason on a new episode of CBS Sunday Morning, Sean Ono Lennon expressed concern that Generation Z may “forget” The Beatles and the legacy of his legendary parents, John Lennon and Yoko Ono. “Obviously, the world is also the custodian of his legacy,” Lennon said. “I’m just doing my best to help make sure that the younger generation doesn’t forget about The Beatles and John and Yoko.” Sean emphasized his personal commitment to preserving their memory and values of peace, love, activism, and humor, inspired by his mother’s enduring example. Lennon’s efforts include his 2023 Oscar-winning animated short film, WAR IS OVER!, aimed at renewing interest in John and Yoko’s music.
