Decision On Dubuque County Fair Coming Next Week

Officials won’t announce the fate of the 2020 Dubuque County Fair today and will wait a little bit longer to decide. Earlier this week, fairgrounds General Manager Kevin Kotz said he intended to announce an update on the fair today. This year’s fair is scheduled for July 28th to August 2nd. The fair Board of Directors will meet again on Tuesday and a final decision will be announced by the end of next week  It has already been announced that the Iowa State Fair has been canceled due to concerns related to COVID-19. Plus, the Crawford County Fair, the Grant County Fair, Jo Daviess County Fair, Delaware County Fair, and Clayton County Fair have been canceled.
