Gas prices have been on a steady climb up since the start of June. New data from Gas-Buddy-dot-com shows drivers in Wisconsin are paying an average of about $2-10 a gallon. That’s roughly 20-cents more than the cost on June 1st. In Iowa, the price at the pump has gone up about 15-cents in the past three weeks – with a state-wide average of $2-05 per gallon. Illinois has the highest state-wide average among the tri-states at $2-27 a gallon – however, their price has increased by only a dime since June 1st. The US average for a gallon of gas is $2-dollars-15-cents.
