UW-Systems names three finalists in presidential search

The Universities of Wisconsin Presidential Search Committee on Thursday named three finalists as work continues to name the university system’s next leader. The three finalists are: Dr. Steven Gareth Holley, executive vice chancellor and chief operating officer at University of Mississippi; Dr. Tonjanita L. Johnson, senior vice chancellor for academic and student affairs at University of Alabama System; and Dr. Bernard J. Savarese, vice president for academic affairs, research, and student success, at University of Tennessee System. The UW Board of Regents will hold public forums with each of the candidates next week. The search committee will also accept feedback online on its website through 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 27.
