Silver and Gold Bars and Coins Stolen in Dubuque

Dubuque Police are investigating the theft of tens of thousands of dollars worth of silver and gold in Dubuque. 32 year old Eric Wheaton of Dubuque reported a burglary resulting in the theft of $30,000 in silver bars and coins and $10,000 in gold bars and coins on July 11th or July 12th at his residence. The Dubuque Police Department says an investigation into the incident remains active.
