City Council To Appoint Someone To Serve First Ward

The Dubuque City Council will hold a special session tonight at 6:30 pm. This meeting will be used to appoint a candidate to serve the First Ward on the City Council. There are 10 candidates for the position after a vacancy was created by the resignation of Brett Shaw, who has relocated to his job in the Quad Cities. The appointment will last until the next regular election which will be held on November 2nd, 2021.
