Cassville Safe And Spooky Cancelled

Officials at the Stonefield Historic Site in Cassville have announced that their Safe and Spooky Halloween event has been cancelled. The event typically draws more than 2,000 visitors from around the tri-states and beyond. A social media post on Monday stated that “due to COVID-19 and for the health of our guests, volunteers and staff we are cancelling the Safe and Spooky Halloween event at Stonefield Historic Site this year.” Officials said they carefully considered the situation and reviewed the status of other events across the state before coming to this decision. They hope to bring the event back next year.
