Semi Overturns During Storms

A man from western Iowa was injured when his semi overturned on Highway 151 during Monday’s storms. The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department says their office was called about 1:20 Monday afternoon regarding the one-vehicle accident near Belmont. Authorities report 45-year-old Erik Bojack of Dunlap, Iowa, was driving south on Highway 151 when strong winds knocked his semi over. Bojack was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The truck and trailer both received moderate damage and were towed from the scene.
