Police arrested a Dubuque man Friday night after discovering multiple pounds of marijuana in his vehicle. According to Dubuque Police, 42-year-old Yoosuf Moment was pulled over about 8:30 after running a stop sign. He initially refused to identify himself, but officers found an ID on him and learned that Moment was barred from driving in Iowa. A K9 officer alerted police to narcotics inside the vehicle. During a search, authorities located several bags of marijuana – weighing a total of 4.3-pounds. Police also found a stun gun and prescription medications that were not in a labeled prescription bottle. Moment was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, unlawfully carrying concealed weapons, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, interference with official acts, failure to affix drug stamp and driving while barred.
