Maquoketa City Manager A Finalist For Eau Claire Position

Current Maquoketa City Manager Gerald Smith is a finalist for a city manager’s position in Eau Claire. City Council members in Eau Claire recently narrowed the field to three finalists from a group of eight semifinalists. Another round of interviews with finalists is set for this month. Smith became Maquoketa city manager in 2017. He previously served as city manager of Junction City, Kansas. He also has held municipal government positions in Ohio and Illinois.
