Vacancy Filled On East Dubuque City Council

The East Dubuque City Council has filled a vacancy on the city council. Chad Biermeier has been sworn into the City Council and will fill a two year term. He was selected by Mayor Kirk VanOstrand to fill the Ward 3 seat vacated when former Council Member Marty Werner died on April 1st. Biermeier is an assistant professor of education and head of the teacher education department at University of Dubuque.
