A vehicle caused several thousands of dollars’ worth of damage to a Dubuque motel early Tuesday. Police say the crash happened around 6:30 at the Days Inn by Wyndham along Dodge Street. According to a police report, 51-year-old Daniel Foster of Dubuque was parked in the motel’s lot. When Foster started the vehicle, it was in gear already and went forward – striking a door frame and windows at the motel. The crash caused an estimated $9-thousand dollars in damage.
