Dubuque House Fire

No injuries were reported in a Saturday evening fire on Central Avenue in Dubuque – however, officials say a family was displaced. According to reports, emergency crews were called around 4:45 Saturday to a home in the 28-hundred block of Central Avenue. Firefighters responding to the scene reported seeing heavy smoke and flames visible from inside the house. Fire officials had the blaze under control within an hour of arriving on the scene. As of now, no other details are available – including the cause of the fire or a damage estimate.
