One Person Injured in Jo Daviess County Crash

Jo Daviess county authorities say a man was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash Sunday around noon. 53 year old Donald Nowviock of Stockton was taken by ambulance to a helicopter and airlifted to Mercyhealth in Rockford for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. According to the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Department,  Nowviock was traveling north on Highway 78 when he swerved to avoid a vehicle traveling south in the northbound lane. Nowviock’s vehicle left the roadway, overcorrected, crossed the highway and rolled into a ravine.
