Iowa State Fair is making a comeback

The Iowa State Fair starts today and is back after last year’s COVID cancellation. State fair officials say ticket sales are going well for this year’s event, which runs through August 22. The campgrounds near the fairgrounds are full and that’s a good indication that the fair is headed for a full rebound.
