Dubuque Man Injured In Grant County Motorcycle Crash

A Dubuque man suffered life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash Thursday in Grant County. 31 year old Michael Schadler was found unconscious and was airlifted from the scene. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred around 12:15 a.m. Thursday on the Highway 11 overpass over Highway 35/61/151. Investigators believe Schadler was northbound on Highway 35/61/151 when he took the off-ramp to Highway 11 and turned left. Instead of turning into the appropriate westbound lane, Schadler turned into a turning lane for eastbound traffic, and ran out of roadway, sliding for several feet and coming to rest under his motorcycle.
