One Person Injured When Car Hits Tree in Dubuque

Dubuque Police say one person was injured Wednesday when a driver lost control of his vehicle, resulting in the vehicle landing on its roof. 34 year old Corlandis Chester of Dubuque was taken by ambulance to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center for treatment of injuries. According to a crash report,  the accident happened at about 1:50 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Ann Street and Garfield Avenue. The report states that Chester was southbound on Garfield Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree. The vehicle overturned and landed on its roof. Chester was cited with failure to maintain control.
