Firefighters Put Out Small Fire In Millwork District

Dubuque firefighters responded to a small fire in the Millwork District on Tuesday. At about 6:20 p.m., crews were sent to a building at the intersection of Jackson and East Eighth streets. Fire department officials said the small blaze was located between the building and a garage addition and was put out within about five minutes. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
