Hinson Tests Positive For COVID-19

U.S. Representative Ashley Hinson of Iowa has announced that she has tested positive for COVID-19. Hinson said in a statement that she currently is working remotely in Washington D.C. following the positive test while isolating and following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance. Hinson said she started experiencing mild, cold-like symptoms on Thursday afternoon, took a COVID-19 test and received a positive result. Hinson says she is fully vaccinated against the disease and has received a booster shot.
