Police Investigating Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle

A woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Dubuque. Police report that emergency crews were called shortly before noon on Friday to the entrance of the Diamond Jo Casino parking ramp. Upon arrival, authorities say the pedestrian – an adult female – was pronounced dead at the scene. The person’s identity has not been released at this time and police say an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
