The Dubuque County Board of Supervisors recently approved nearly $180,000 for six area nonprofits. The latest round of approvals for annual purchase of services funding included $95,000 to two nonprofits that requested sums in late 2020 and had been expecting to receive the money. Travel Dubuque will receive $60,000 for travel marketing for the county. Fountain of Youth will receive $35,000 for its Partners in Change program. Supervisors also approved four reimbursement payments to organizations that have since completed the projects for which they applied to the county for funding. St. Mark Youth Enrichment received $40,000 for its Heroes Summer Academy. Four Mounds Foundation received $20,000 for its HEART Program. Dubuque County Historical Society received $17,500 for Mathias Ham House site preservation and restoration. Dyersville Area Historical Society received $7,000 to wrap windows on its Doll Museum.
