A Chicago man will spend 15 years in federal prison for having several drugs in his vehicle during a traffic stop in Dubuque County. The sentence for 35-year-old Brian Hale Jr was handed down in US District Court. Hale pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute meth. Officials say Hale had more than 150 grams of marijuana, 370 tablets containing meth and almost 200 grams of cocaine in his vehicle when he was pulled over in May 2020. He must also serve 4 years of supervised release following his prison term.
