A 62-year-old Dubuque man was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle while riding his bike. According to a police report, Roger Vogt was struck at the intersection of Rosemont Street and Pennsylvania Avenue around 7:30 Tuesday morning. As Vogt was crossing the street, a vehicle – driven by 67-year-old Daniel Willis of Dubuque – pulled from a stopped sign and turned on to Pennsylvania, hitting Vogt. Vogt, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Mercy One Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Willis was cited for failing to obey a stop sign.
