District officials and Cuba City school board members are having a series of meetings with candidates looking to be the district’s next elementary school principal. Superintendent Aaron Olson says the board will interview a total of six candidates on two different evenings this week. He also said the board is hoping to approve the hiring of a new principal at its meeting on April 20 – with the contract likely starting on July 1. Multiple staff within the district have taken on the elementary school principal duties after former principal Brad Lutes stepped down last fall.
