Police said Wednesday that the investigation continues into a shooting on July 9 that killed one person and injured three others in Dubuque. Dubuque police previously reported that officers responded to the 2500 block of Broadway Street at about 2:30 a.m. July 9 for a report of shots fired and found four individuals with gunshot wounds at the scene. 36 year old Allen Taylor of Dubuque was taken by ambulance to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital for treatment and was pronounced dead. A report says three others were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at area hospitals: 24 year old Levon’ta Collins of Dubuque, 36 year old Francis Thompson of Dubuque, and 24 year old Tyrell Saunders of Coralville, Iowa. All three have been released from hospitals. No arrests have been made in relation to the shooting.
