New Superintendent At West Delaware County Schools

West Delaware County Community School District leaders have announced their next superintendent. Jen Vance, who currently serves as assistant superintendent in the Central DeWitt Community School District, will assume the role July 1, pending board approval. Vance will replace Kristen Rickey, who is retiring as superintendent at the end of the school year after 13 years with the district. The school board selected Vance after board members and stakeholder groups of students, parents, teachers and community members interviewed three finalists on Monday.
