ICEHOUSE will celebrate the 40th anniversary of its landmark album Man of Colours with a major Australian tour in 2027. The band confirmed the anniversary shows as part of plans to revisit one of the most successful chapters of its career.
The newly announced tour will take ICEHOUSE to several major Australian cities, including Newcastle, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. The concerts will put the spotlight on Man of Colours, the 1987 album that helped expand the group’s audience both at home and internationally.
Led by Iva Davies, ICEHOUSE became one of Australia’s most recognizable bands during the 1980s. Man of Colours produced several enduring songs, including Electric Blue and Crazy, and became a defining release in the group’s catalog.
The 2027 dates will give longtime fans a chance to hear music connected to the album four decades after its original release. The anniversary also highlights the lasting role Man of Colours has played in Australian pop and rock history.
