Authorities say a kitchen fire caused approximately $100,000 damage at a home in Dubuque County. The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department and fire departments from Key West, Bernard and La Motte responded at approximately 9:45 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a structure fire at a home on Laudeville Road. According to a release, the occupants of the house said they had returned home to find their residence filled with smoke. Firefighters were able to isolate the fire to the kitchen. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined but does not appear to be suspicious. Â
