Two People Injured in UTV Crash

Authorities say two people were injured in a utility vehicle rollover crash in Dubuque County. 36 year old Brandon Meier of Bellevue, and a passenger suffered injuries in the crash. According to the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department,  Meier was treated at the scene and refused medical transport. The passenger, who was not identified, was taken by ambulance to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. A release states that Meier was operating the UTV in a pasture off Gertrude Lane in rural Farley at approximately 12:49 a.m. Saturday when the UTV rolled over. Authorities are investigating the crash.
