Iowa Man Arrested in Iowa County

Iowa County authorities received a traffic complaint near mile marker 33 on Highway 23 around 2pm Sunday. An Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop near County Road B in the City of Dodgeville. As a result, 63 year old Scot Burkhead of Blue Grass, Iowa was arrested and charged with Ignition Interlock Device Tampering/Failure To Install/ and Violation of a Court Order, and Operating While under the Influence –3rd offense. Burkhead was booked at the Iowa County Jail where he remains in custody.
