Two Vehicle Crash Injures Galena Woman in Dubuque

One person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in Dubuque. 59 year old Barbara Greene of Galena was taken by ambulance to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center for treatment. According to Dubuque police, the crash happened at the intersection of John F. Kennedy Road and Foothill Drive at about 5:35 p.m. Saturday. Police say a vehicle driven by 39 year old Corey Lorenz of Dubuque stopped at a stop sign at the intersection but then failed to yield the right of way when continuing across JFK. A vehicle driven by 60 year old Kevin Greene of Galena struck the rear of Lorenz’s vehicle. Barbara Greene was a passenger in the vehicle driven by Kevin Greene. Lorenz was cited with failure to obey a stop sign and failure to yield the right of way.
